EXPERIENCE
Currently Director of Risk Management and Patient Relations – Red Lake Margaret Cochenour Memorial Hospital

Responsible for the hospitals Risk Management plan and implementation of the plan, including risk reduction projects, assessments, training, education, Insurance, claims and managing the incidents submitted to the hospitals incident reporting system

Responsible for creation, maintenance, delivery and education related to the hospital’s Emergency Management Plan

Responsible for Privacy at the hospital including maintenance, breach reporting, investigations, follow-up and training
-
Responsible for Quality at the hospital including Quality initiatives, Quality Improvement Plan creation and implementation, Quality Committee and Quality data compilation and distribution

Receive and resolve patient complaints and function as the patient relations representative for the hospital.

Field Duties:

Provided on site care and assessment for athletes during both practices and games. Duties included stretching, taping, emergency care, assessment, rehabilitation programing, and return to play. Organized and obtained medical information and supervised junior therapists. Hydration and equipment maintenance was also included. Travelled for extensive periods with the team on both evenings and weekends.
